As for the person who disected my supposed life(sorry forget your name)you are correct i was brought up in gateshead. Supporting Sunderland was not to be different. Quite simply i was taken there as a child.Surely i should be commended from not running with the crowds and staying my own man.How many of you would buckle under the weight of constant peer pressure? As for the pub comment,i very rarely go out on a tuesday as i stick to binge drinking at the weekend.Shift work you see. Anyhow ,nice to see you all pull together into a group. Unity is strength Eh? Wouldn't it be nice if you let your average badger join in your psuedo middle class discussions? Although i feel that the majority of this board look down on your average fan. Despite numerous attempts to placate you, you still find comfort in goading us. Why is that? I think that you have a typical sample of NUFC followers on here, no one eludes to being superior, we're all average lads and lasses with a common interest, just like you lot on the RTG. The difference between this forum and the RTG is that we don't except, encourage foul and abusive language just for the sake of it. Finally, your inferiority complex is getting the better of you. Listen soopa I am not going to go back and forth with you on this. You come on here and until recetly contributed a different perspective, which for the most part was appreciated as a change of pace. Now you're regressing to pure antagonisim, for what end?? The arguements between NUFC and SAFC are endless, each of us convinced of each others validity. Don't paint us all with the same brush, as we all think and move independently of NUFC. For the most part it's all tongue in cheek.

Good point although you must see that i am vastly outnumbered.What you should notice though is that i have only ever abused one person by name(smb) However i am constantly on the recieving end! I have been called sad,lonely,a teenager, a first class wanker etc etc etc and thats just the ones that spring to mind! Talking football is fine by me but you must realise that if the chance to poke fun at your lot arises i will take it,as you will in return.Next time Buff is back in the area i will buy him a drink or two . He will then be able to fill you in on my real persona and in some(most,nearly all)cases prove you very wrong.

Fair enough! Since I know people who know Buff and speak highly of him, that's good enough for me. Not your fault you support sunderland, it's my fault I support the Toon, could be worse I could follow someone like Boro (excuse me while I vomit). Poking fun at each other is fair enough, no harm, no foul, however, what is objectionable is the plain abuse (both sides are responsible for it) I for one was a sceptical a few months back when makems started coming on here throwing insults around etc, now apart from the odd thread, I look for the contributions of the lurkers and yourself, different viewpoint is what I am after. You know yourself that it's almost impossible to see your team through anything other than rose coloured glasses. You've made a point of what you don't like, so you give what you get. I always resort to the lowest form of defense....nothing beats a good put down.

I would be prepared to accept that on a couple of occasions you have been unfairly attacked on here. However, if you read the majority of posts carefully you will find a real willingness to accept you as part of the community.

In any community of people, large or small, you cannot demand respect, and you will never achieve it by attacking the members of that community at every opportunity. The fact that you are a SAFC fan posting on a Toon bbs doesn't alter that fact.

People on here accept and will fully understand you vigorously defending your team and everything associated with it - however, they will not accept you coming on here slagging everything to do with our team, and even the bbs contributors personally.

This is intended to be a discussion forum. You are very welcome to take part in our discussions - but if you really feel they are as middle-class and puerile as you suggest, then it simply isn't the place for you. Your choice bonny lad - however, if you want to hang around please understand that respect has to be earned, on here as in any community.

I don't like getting personal. Since I don't know many poeple on here beyong the bounds of the BBS, I can only judge people on their posts. No matter what you're like in the flesh, if you post w@nky messages then I'm bound to think you're a w@nker. That's the problem with the BBS, it give us a narrow view of each other. So remember SK, you can only be judged on your posts.

So with this extensive knowledge of football (and NUFC) are you going to enter the team pick comp this commong season? I assume someone is running one...
Maybe you'd like to run a parallel comp just for you and Lurker. I'm sure whoever runs our comp would include you in the league table.
