The Lions, Henman, England Cricket team. Why wasn't I surprised when they all lost? Lots of my London buddies had a face like a slapped back-side yesterday - me? I shrugged my shoulders and said "well, I've had 31 years of hurt so what difference does another weekend make?" The sad realisation of all this is that I think I'm actually starting to enjoy being a loser.

Don't castigate yoursell bonny lad - you don't enjoy it, you've simply learned how to deal with your disappointments and live with them.

Having learned how to be good losers, we run far less chance of ultimately being sore winners (a real nice phrase I picked up this morning from Gus regarding Aussie sports fans)!
