S Sun, Zenden gone cold?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

In an article by Neil Farrington who again couldn't be arsed to get off his are but rather re-hash an old story, Zenden's is likely to go elsewhwere. In fact the whole of the Sunday Sun today was full of re-hashed or made up crap, does he work full time?

Well, Dave, they are quoting Robson in an interview so I think we'll have to believe them.

In the light of the above comments about the Sunday Sun, it is worth quoting from Neil Farrington's "Nutshells" piece in the very same paper today:-

"It has been interesting to see how many of this summer's football stories have been procured from the British web-sites.
None of the NUFC-related articles I have written this summer have emanated from the same cormer of cyberspace. But it is gratifying that so many journalists who once treated the Internet with suspicion, not to say contempt, are now happily playing in the surf
".

Something about pots & kettles springs to mind.

Nah, he dredges them up from different corners of cyberspace so folks won't catch on. ;-)

But what you don't mention Clarky is that the SS is a "respected organ" of the local community. Many of the cyberspace sites Farrington is talking about are purely informal things - nowt more than a cyber-table in a WMC or pub.

Heh Heh, I laughed at that, the Ronnies greatest claim to an article this close season was the report on fans not liking Wadsworth. How did they get this, they bought a copy of the Mag at £1.50 & rewrote an article based on a 1 month old Poll. I don't thing the Ronnies' scribes are imaginative to look on the net.
