um... what's this forum called again?

that being said my favorite film for nature is APX 25 or Ilford FP4+ rated at 50. you do consider black, gray and white to be colors, don't you?

Nicely put David.

Herbert, Reala is a nice film, but "Best" is something you'll have to find for yourself- through trying all sorts of varibles no matter what is considered "right" or "wrong".

Post this at www.photo.net , and you'll get more opinions than you care to read.In fact, you'll eventually ask for mercy...

Heh.. I hope I didn't come off to huffy.

But to your point Hubert... lot's of folk who shoot color swear by Fuji Velvia. I've used it but now I pretty much only shoot b/w except for the odd roll of Porta when I taking pictures of my kid.

Reala is a negative film, Velvia and Provia are positives (slides, transparency, etc). Head over to photo.net and search for saturated films for many opinions. I think some Agfa products get high marks for saturation. The limited amount of Reala I've shot, I wouldn't call it saturated at all... accurate colour with great skin tones I'd say!

Why did you post a question about color films on a b&w forum? Do you really want b&w experts to answer your questions about color films?
