Seems that Manure are talking to Di CannyLad! He isn't out of contract, so presumably WHU have given him permission to take part in transfer talks.

-- Anonymous, July 08, 2001

ManUre and The Canny Lad? Surely not. I'd have him at NUFC tho. How much???

-- Anonymous, July 08, 2001

Didn't say how much WHU want for PDC - but I certainly wouldn't say no to him.
BTW, Matt Elliott is rumoured to be interesting Celtic at £2mm. He'd be worth a serious punt for that sort of money - not exactly Franz Beckenbauer, but just what we need imo. A big nasty bugger - nearest I've seen to Big John McNamee for a long time.!
