In a very roundabout way, I met lots of goat friends on the internet. I found the CS forum after subscribing many years, and after asking goat questions, got directed to some goat-related sites, which led to more goat sites, which led back to here. There's lots of overlap.

Husband and I retired from the military, and neither of us wanted to go home, so we searched for something in the hills, east of the Mississippi, far enough south so I wouldn't freeze, far enough north that he could have winter, and here we are.

I know what you mean about winter, Teresa. I just have to have four seasons, too!! The hills of Tenn. sounds beautiful, but I think I'd miss the ocean and fishin'!!
