Dougal I note the use of this "inter alia" nonsense whilst conducting a post mortem on another thread and ipso facto I feel it is incumbent upon me to point out to you as I have ad infinitum in the past that it is a sine qua non of this forum that the de facto and de jure standard for posts is that we use the English language, or Geordie where the English is inadequate. The language that we learned from our maters and paters (or other guardians acting in loco parentis) must be good enough for all correspondence here. It is not ultra vires Macbeth's authority to have transgressors suspended sine die.

As a quid pro quo of your continuing presence on this forum your bona fides will have to examined, otherwise this sort of thing will be repeated ad nauseam. So let's have no more of this "inter alia" bollocks (excuse my French).

I'm pleased that we have reached a concensus and speak una voce on this issue. The status quo is likely to be maintained. It would be a matter of concern if the BBS were to venture into terra incognita. We could end up having a "horrible arsehole" as the queen once said I think.
