Edison Prepares Outage Groups (KFWB) -- Revised 2:15p -- Southern California Edison has prepared a list of groups in its electric grid that would face blackouts if they were called for today.

California's Independent System Operator is not predicting a Stage 3 Emergency or blackouts due to today's power shortage. However, SoCal Edison says if they were to occur, the following groups would have their power cut first:

Possible as early as 3pm: A31, A33, and A34.

If further rolling blackouts were needed, then A35 and M6, M7, M8, M9 might have their electricity interrupted as early as 4pm. That is not currently expected to happen.

The group that you belong to is visible on your latest Edison bill. You can also click on the group number to check if you are in it. Also, you can call Edison at (800) 611-1911.
