Looking For A Office/M3 Camera Bag

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread

I have a question about buying a camera bag. I have read the camera accessory threads and can’t seem to find the design of bag I’m looking for. I would like to get a bag similar to the Domke F803 (over the shoulder satchel briefcase bag). Because I walk to work everyday- I take my M3 with me to be ready for spontaneous photo opportunities that happen. My current briefcase does not have a separate cushioned compartment for the M3 and lens so it ends up banging against the rest of my studio papers and computer media. The bags main function would be to contain a minimal amount of my studio stuff (mostly letter sized paper); plus protect a M3 and one attached lens (35mm Summilux or 50mm Summicron) from banging around inside the bag. I would appreciate any suggetions. Thanks in advance!

Sincerely

Why buy another bag, if you like the bag you now have but wish to protect the Leica, buy a Domke bag insert...the double short without the divider.

i have the domke f803 satchel bag and it's the best one i've tried so far (and i've tried a lot of them including expensive billinghams). they bag that seems nice that i haven't tried is the mclassics at

In addition to a Tenba Traveler 503 bag, I use CourierWare's (www.courierwareusa.com) heavy-duty camera bag insert in my business satchels--works great (but not exactly lightweight).

Try M-Classics in Boston. They have an updated version of the old Leica satchel and it is very easy to use and is comfotable on your shoulder.
