CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO MAINTAIN A LAGOON? WE PURCHASED A 6 ACRE HOME STEAD WITH A LAGOON THAT SMELLS TERRIBLE. WHAT CAN I DO?

Need more details. How big, how deep, any plants, is the water turbid, or contaminated, or just eutrophic? What color is the water? How much water flow? Describe any other attributes.

add fish - the climate and plants determin what kind. Just a hint - trout probaly won't make it. but goldfish or carp or catfish might.
