Boycott K-Mart

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Freedom! self reliance : One Thread

Even after dumping Rosie the Replusive K-Mart just can't let it rest, they have to keep nibbling at the 2nd Amendment. Their latest move to cancel handgun ammo sales caps it. I'm no fan of the New World Wallmacht either, but in this case it might be a good idea to visit your local Wal-Munder and buy a good supply of handgun ammo for whatever you choose to carry.

And, above all, from this day forth forever, don't let the Blue Light Special shine on you.

Never bought my ammo at KMart anyway..hmm, come to think of it I haven't been inside a KMart store in over 15 years. For those of you who join the boycott, please remember to drop them a line to let them know all the nice business they are going to lose. Probably some lawyer told them they could be held liable to the yuppies for selling ammo and they caved..too bad...I wonder if they will ban knives in Japan now? Maybe KMart should stop selling knives and baseball bats and pillows as well since they all have been used to kill people? What about tire irons and hammers, and all that horrid rope! Not to mention scissors and golf clubs and fishing line...what a dangerous inventory that store has! It's enough to make you want to shop elsewhere isn't it?

KMart.....I was in one six years ago. It was simply too dangerous, as you said Lesley. All the clothesline, and they even had PAINT!!! and glues and pesticides, and who knows what else.

Seriously, it is getting crazy, isn't it? When will we be able to make life safe for everyone all the time? grrrr. I'll boycott them Rags, but I doubt they will notice. I'll tell my friends about it.

the last time in the wally world they had a very good price on bulk pack [100] of 9 m&m's.........you know how fast those things seem to go away!.

Yet another reason not to go to kmart. I like my walmart. I can get ammo, and firearms as well.

Best of luck with the Wal-mart idea... In IL, neither have had ammo for quite a number of years. Most don't sell much that is gun-related. Here in Idaho, the ones I've been to anyway, both K and Wal have guns and ammo.

Never liked K-mart anyway, and I'll pass this along for what good its worth. But, I'll keep buying my 24/$5 toilet paper at Wal... macht?? Hmmmm.... Lots cheaper than anywhere else I have here.
