Saving A Screen Picture

Suppose you need to include a picture of a particular Web site in a newsletter or memo. There's no need to go to a lot of trouble. All you have to do is press Alt + Print Screen. This will capture the active screen and save it to the Windows Clipboard. Now, you can run Paint or another graphics program and press Ctrl + V to paste the picture into the paint program. Or, if you're currently working on your newsletter, you can just paste the picture directly into your word processor.

Thanks for this info. I have tried for a long time to print just the frame I was on and could never make it work. I just made it work ! I did the ALT + Print screen, then pasted it to Word Pad, then printed it.

I thought Right-click, then Copy accomplished the same thing.

Brooks, I tried that and if I pointed my cursor at a graphic it worked but but only the graphic, when I pointed at any other thing, it would just give me the background. This method gives it all. Usually I just want text and if I am in the middle of a long page, I could never get just the single frame, I have tried, and it wants to print the whole page. As you can see, I'm just a novice, but I'll accept anything that works.
