This is a .42X video conversion lens. Not a particularly good one either. They are often pressed into 35mm SLR camera service by attaching them to the end of a 50mm lens with a series 7 filter adapter. Makes it behave something like an "almost" full frame fisheye lens. Attaching it to a 28mm lens gives you a circular fisheye image covering about 150 degrees. The image gets real soft on the edges though and the lens needs to be stopped way down to get anything usable. You can get series 7 filter adapters to fit lenses with filter rings up to 62mm.

Porters Camera sells them, or something like them, almost $100. On www.ebay.com they have recently sold for between $27 and $120!!! Amazing what sells there. That's where I sold mine.
