I am totally new to this website and am not sure how I received the very first digest or notifications but have enjoyed reading messages and information.

I have a 2 yr old Apricot Standard named Gabby. She is our first Standard--have had lots of breeds before now and will never have anything else! We earned her CD last October in Memphis. Have been taking Agility classes and will probably enter some shows this fall. Also, training for Open Competition. My biggest problem is that she will not bring the dumbbell back to me and "front"--she picks it up, comes back over the jump or on flat and "throws the dumbbell" to me and then sits OR-she just decides she doesn't want to retrieve it on command. She definitely has a mind of her own at times. How can I MAKE her want to retrieve the dumbbell properly?
