Can anyone remember the US cop thing TJ hooker, well aparently I am the spitting image of William Shackners sidekick, whose name eludes me at the moment.

Amen Bobby......feel like I`ve lost an old friend.

That was Adrian Zmed, Rik, who also appeared in the classic 80's Tom Hanks film "Bachelor Party". You look nowt like him :-)

Boom boom boom. RIP.

I used to look like him in the eighties , the same as you used to look like Bartino a few years ago.

Ah Yes Adrian Zmed, best known for his starring role in the ABC series "T.J. Hooker," has also starred in series such as "Goodtime Girls," "Flatbush," "The Protectors" and "Dance Fever." He has also apeared as a guest star on "Silk Stalkings," "Empty Nest," "Hotel," "Love Boat," "Murder She Wrote" and "The Posse." Zmed has also starred in movies-of-the-week such as "Victims for Victims," "Glitter" and "Love on the Run." Zmed's film work includes a starring role opposite Michelle Pfeiffer in "Grease II," as well as starring roles in "Bachelor Party," "The Final Terror," "Eyewitness To Murder," "The Other Woman" and "Improper Conduct." Zmed has appeared on Broadway in "Grease," "Blood Brothers," and "Falsettos." He has also starred in "Eating Raoul," "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Evita," "Funny Girl," "Godspell," Little Shop of Horrors," "Romeo and Juliet," "She Stoops to Conquer," "Merton of the Movies," "The Fantasticks," "Beginner's Luck," "Prelude to a Kiss" and "Lend Me a Tenor."

I'll dig a picture out of him to see if you think there is a resembalance. Perhaps we should start a lookalikes thread

Ok, I'm half asleep and in a rush to get out the door for a monsoonal 5hr drive to New Jersey to see U2 again(why do I do this??).....what does Adrian Zmed have to do with John Lee Hooker?

I'm sure it will make more sense to me after I get some slepp some time this weekend.

RIP Johnny Lee and also Carroll O'Connor (Archie Bunker on All inthe Family) who also died last night.

Caroll O'Connor was superb as the general (who wasn't at all like Georgie Patton, honest) in "Kelly's Heroes". Archie Bunker was the US equivalent of Alf Garnet, even down to the blood transfusion storyline for those of yoy who also have no lives.

I saw him at Newcastle City Hall around 1968 or 9. Excellent. I remember his patter between the numbers was very good. "I was sittin' at the back of the bus - where I belong" etc. RIP.

also the loss of Carroll O'Connor better known as "Archie Bunker" from the 70's died last night. After the honeymooners finished, he was the next Ralph Cramden.

' can't imagine how you can make fun out of it? :-(

All you gotta do is listen to "BoobBoom" or "Dimples" and you'll realise what a loss this is!

- RIP, JLH

Adrian Zmed, for some little unconcious reason pisses me right off. Any one reckon he's got a smug we beayt yews face??

-- Anonymous, June 22, 2001

T.smith, I have to confess that it was the intensely smug and annoying characteristics of Mr Zmed which makes me remember his name all these years later......I am worried about my mental health :-0

Actually, I think Adrian does bear a slight, passing resemblance to Wor Rik.
