Michael Ball

It seems like we are being used to get this lad a move now. Rumours of a £6million bid for Everton's Michael Ball.

The fee will probably be agreed, then Manure will come in for him and sign him. Has Shepherd got a special arrangement with Kenwright or something?

I can't see Ball coming to us. Didn't Man u want him? Good player though.

BTW what is the evidence for 'slow season ticket sales'. I know the deadline has been moved but it seems to have become fact, that we haven't sold them all.

It would fit in with Robson's supposed plan to bring in a left winger (Zenden), a left back (Ball), a striker (Bellamy?) and a centre back (??????).

Quite expensive but if we could get him him and Griffin would be a cracking pair of full backs to have and with Barton and Quinn as back up we woulc have adequate cover.

I'm not sure we'll get him though because Manure have expressed an interest before. Ball will probably be on holiday now and will come back and say he won't talk to Robson as his dream move is to Old Trafford. Seem to have read something like that before.

Which other clubs are going to use us as a transfer pawn?
