......wish someone would toss him in our direction. Or is he not up to the demands of Inter-totup?

How I soooo wish he'd play for us...

duh! wha! Damned alarm clock

Apparently he is saying he won't go to Italy or another London Club which narrows down the field somewhat - presumably to the major Spanish Clubs (Real or Barca) or Manure, unless of course he wants to play for some dreary French team.

What is about the French that makes them such supreme tossers? Intelligence perchance?

"What is about the French that makes them such supreme tossers?"

Agincourt, Waterloo, two world wars, Algeria...

"What is it about the French that makes them such supreme tossers?"

Perhaps their genetic self-righteous indignation and belief that they are a MASSIVE nation. Now who else shows those traits?

I'll give you only one guess..............

Contrast with David James.

Villa splash out £3m on Kachloul and James says he'll stay cos they are showing ambition.

Arsenal get Wright and Jeffers, CL football and Viera's off. Strange

I wonder if Dyer will think that we are ambitious enough after we sign, Zenden, Butt , Helder and Bellamy?

Plus point for us...Newcastle isn't in London! Or even Italy! And we're competing on the same stage in Europe as...PSG. ;-)

Apparently Viera's Agent has been hawking his client around the major Club's trying to set up a deal despite the fact that he is under contract and Arsenal have said he's not for sale. He's been advising that his fee to arrange the transfer is £3.5 million!

This must be like 'Anelka Revisited' for Arsenal. I wonder if Wenger is as brassed off with his fellow countrymen as a growing constituency of PL Chairman. Tossers.

£3.5m? Well, maybe it's not that OTT, there must be a lot of calls on mobile phones to pay for, faxes, erm stamps - they'll be first class I'm sure - erm, plain brown envelopes, erm, yes it does seem a tad excessive now you mention it.

The game has gone mad.

You're right Jonno, of course - why you can buy half a Bellamy for that kind of money these days!

-- Anonymous, June 23, 2001

Would half a Bellamy be better than a full Bellamy?

We could get the good half (if there is such a thing)
