yes, i'm so completely obsessed with this one guy from school. he has no idea who i am being two years older than me, but i'm just so attracted to him. you know? i don't know, i just think he's perfect and i'm not just talking about looks. i always try to follow him just to get a glimpse of him, and when i do, this feeling of happiness and excitement just comes and i can't help but put a big smile on my face. and i totally agree with you about rather keeping your obsession a secret than having the person finding out. it would just be too scary to find out what their reaction is once they know you're obsessed with them.

I guess you could say that I've both been obsessed and have had a person obsess over me. Both are a little creepy. The latter is a little more annoying.. a lot of times I would be kind of scared of the other person, but I felt bad because it wasn't really their fault that I didn't like them. Being obsessed with someone isn't much better though; actually I find the uncertainty extremely stressful. Don't you think so? Always worrying, hoping, being careful.. But it's also kind of boring to not have anyone in mind, either. I guess. The whole obsession deal is just a messy situation.. it happens too often with us, though.

Obsessed is just a word that the lazy use to describe determined. After all, the chase is the fun part.. so there's nothing wrong with getting caught up in that. I have never obsessed over anyone .. call me lazy or just uninterested. Having people obsess over you can be amusing but it gets old, quickly.
