Magpies to swoop for Murray ^top

Newcastle are poised to make a surprise free-transfer swoop for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Paul Murray. Murray, out of contract at Loftus Road and therefore available for nothing, played under Newcastle head coach Mick Wadsworth at Carlisle. He has suffered no end of injury problems in recent years but Wadsworth obviously believes he can still realise the potential he showed at Brunton Park. The Magpies have been tracking Murray for more than a year and there were rumours last season that the club were about to swoop for Murray. At 24, Murray has time on his side but he is not exactly the type of high-profile signing Newcastle's fans were hoping for this summer.

I think we knew we were going to be in the Intertoto and that's why we're looking to get Murray

So he can be the sacrificial player to pick up the preseason injury that keeps him out all season thereby saving our first choice players? A cunning plan. ;-)

So, if he's injured and can't run, then won't he be a Murray walker?
Oops, is that the time?
