Just looking at the Red Issue website - some Man Utd site is saying that they will be signing Veron on Thursday and Dyer on Friday. More interestingly, the Mancs don't seem to want him. "The bloke's a class A plum", "What the f...k has he done anyway" blah blah. Added my own oar, saying he is over-rated etc and has a crap attitude in the fond hope of some Man Utd board member reading it and deciding to pack in the chase for him...... well, you never know.

Why would ManUre want Dyer, if they can attract players like Veron, Nedved, etc... Dyer is a good player, but think about it, would you rather have a proven world class midfielder or a young lad with potential who has yet to shine at the highest level?

£20 million is a lot for a player with one year's Premiership experience and I guess when push comes to shove the Manure board wouldn't sanction such a deal.

Conversely if we do pull of the Zenden/Dani deal will it satisfy Dyer's ambitions. I believe he'd rather stay with us.
