Teamtalk are saying it's a £22,000 a week contract which much represent good value for the club. Could there possibly be a reduction due to International committments as Robson hinted at earlier in the year?

Well, he hasn't had that many first team opportunities, although, in fairness, he has been a bit injury-prone. The one thing I would say is that we desperately need to start the new regime next season.

I wonder if Given and Harper will share the pre-season games with the one in form being given the starting place for the first league game? Or will Given be the No.1?

When Harper signed his contract he mentioned assurances that he was not the No.2 and had equal claim to the No.1 Jersey.
