JESSE WIFE IN VIEQUES BUST

June 19, 2001 -- The Navy yesterday resumed bombing practice on the tiny Puerto Rican island of Vieques over the continued heated protests of demonstrators, including Jesse Jackson's wife.
"For the people of Vieques!" Jacqueline Jackson screamed as she was dragged off the firing-range site in handcuffs by Navy guards.
Previously arrested protesters
included the Rev. Al Sharpton, who's been on a hunger
strike at a Brooklyn jail since May 29
