What percentage of the image area does the non-metered 67 prism show?

Gary-

The non-metered prism head for the P67 shows around 89% of the scene. I often compose with the prism then replace it with the folding focusing hood for 100% viewing accuracy and fine tuning the focus. Kind of a pain; I've been told that to get 100% thru a prism head the thing would have to be considerably larger, bulkier etc.

The prism shows (per Pentax) 90% of the height and 90% of the width, therefore revealing 81% of the negatives *area* to a viewer's eye. I haven't performed any formal testing to confirm this with precision, but it seems about right based on my regular shooting results.

The rigid magnifying hood provides 100% viewable area with good magnification. The image is reversed though (makes you feel like a large format shooter).
