diane..I saw your comments over on the fence thread. diane ,please keep me posted on this.I was unable to figure out what was going on with my situation.I NEVER received any porno ,just a few virus attempts. One email,that was supposed to be from a person in Arizona( I had her address and had sent and received things from her,so I'm pretty sure she is!),traced back to another state.It was very hard to trace,too,from what I was told.

Apparently people's computers are being hacked and used w/o their knowledge. Like maybe JOJ, if mine was his was,from the descriptions of problems he gave from time to time.Sounded just like mine.

I thought Renee's was too,but she never answered me.Diane,you might want to pass that on to your guy.I believe mine was used,but I don't know for sure.I had the hard drive just working away when I wasn't doing anything but typing. Did anyone ever get jokes or anything odd from me? I rarely sent jokes,or anything with an attachment,just email I wrote myself.And Nick and I stopped using these accounts in Feb. and went to webbased.

By the way diane,I got a joke from you way back in Feb,which was out of character,since I had never received any from you before.Did you send it,do you know? Lot's of funny business,here.

The abuse investigator here is overworked and not all that knowlegeable.Small local ISP.And he doesn't tell me much.And he told me to keep quiet,when I asked about warning others.So I stopped.

I've asked Nick to stay out of it and let the local guy handle things.Was trying to keep away from the law,to be honest,for reasons of my own.Never wanted to get anyone in hot water,just wanted to know what was done,so I could avoid it,fix it, whatever, and warn others. I had quit trying to figure it out,and resigned to reinstalling.

Well,I hope this gets figured out for you.It's pretty disconserting,to say the least.Why would someone do all these things?

(on family matters...it skips a generation,diane :0) BTW,Hope you had a Happy 'father's' day,too.Congrats on the news.)

Sharon, was it a joke about a man and a parrot??? If it was, I sent it. Not on purpose mind you...............went to everyone in my mailbox at the time, including two pastors and missionary friends in several countries, some of which I have never heard from again. A friend who knew of a specific child rearing incident sent it to me and I INTENDED to send it to a specific list of my kids, and most intimate friends who would know EXACTLY why I thought it was so funny.

Julie, I don't know why your mail would have bounced....must have goofed something up when I disable cookies. Thanks for the info.......I really didn't think it was true.
