My brain is about to explode...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Aeon Flux : One Thread

Wow... hi everyone. I am a big Aeon Flux fan, and have been reading this message board for the past couple hours...

I just got finished reading one of the many threads about the episode, Chronophasia. I think my head is about to explode.

That episode has, like with most people, always left me in a state of confusion. Plus the fact that I'm only 16 makes it all the more bewildering, since I don't fully understand all of the concepts of a psyche and such.

Anyhow, while reading that thread, I must have jumped up from my chair at least 5 times, exclaiming, "I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT!". It is so nice to read all of these responses that provoke my mind as to what was actually going on in that episode.

Also... I have some questions about things that you reference to here: *> Why do you sometimes type "Aeon" as "Fon"? What am I missing? *> I hear you talk about the 3rd season bible... where can I get a copy? *> Where do you get all the info such as "Peter said his least favorite episode is xxxxx"?

Thanks :)

ooh... sorry my last paragraph look a bit messed up... I didn't know that I would have to use the < br > tag to do line breaks :S

Well, to answer the last question first, we get that kind of information from articles on fan pages. Peter has made a few brief appearances, as I'm sure you've noticed, but they've been just that, brief. He's a busy guy. There used to be a way to make the A and E merge, but now it comes out as Fon for some reason. I don't know anything about the 3rd season bible. And last but certainly not least: buck up, new meat. Youth means little around here. I was 16 myself when I was proclaimed God of the Forum. And no, I'm not going to let anyone forget that.

Ah, well thanks for the help ^_^

The third season bible isn't available as far as I know. It was probably just an episode writer's guide, written by Peter I think. A few excerpts are in the Cinefantastique article, and give some pretty explicit insight into Aeon's world.

That 'bible' was referred to by Eric Canete, and he said its still around his house somewhere. Wouldn't you love to go on a 'raiders of the lost ark' there! I found it interesting when Denise told that little story about how every now and then the voice actors might have a question about what a bit of dialog meant and the answers they got were rather cryptic. Ha ha, considering the writers of Aeon Flux and what scripts they were working with they did some job pulling it off. Their 'intuition' to interpret the maze of mysterious plots was incredible don't you think?

I have a copy of the intro to the bible used by Colossal :-)

It does'nt detail any episodes just Aeon, Trevor, Bregna, Monica and the whole concept of the series (cool huh!?)

If Blitz is "new meat", does that make Frost the cynical lifer? ;)

It will be in the new book I am developing (slowly) the 3 books will contain the bible intro and the model sheets used by Colossal. I have to say they are going to look very nice :-)
