season tickets / waiting list.

Hi,I went on the season ticket waiting list about 8 months ago and apparently at that time the waiting list was around a year long. It was my friend who sent away for them and I'm hoping that when we get seats we get them togther. I know nothing about the process of how you get you ticket or where you are in the ground. Can anyone help? My main questions are...

am i likely to get a ticket this season? (i applied 8 months ago)

How likely is it that i will be seated next to my friend? ( we specially asked for this.)

Where in the ground do u get seated ? Do u choose ? Can u move if you don't like the seat?

Oh and when will i know if I have got my season ticket this year or not. Will i just not get an application form or will i be told that i havent got one.

Thanks a lot,Oh and One last thing.

If you ring the box office can u check how far down the waiting list you are?

Thanks very much any answers would be greatly appreciated as i know nothing about the way in which the seaosn tickets are handed out.

James, I should imagine you'd be accommodated quite easily. The thing is, if there is a cock up that can be made, NUFC will probably make it, so I would call the box office and ask what is happening with regard to new season tickets and get them to confirm that they will be posting you an application as soon as existing ST holders are taken care of. You will get a choice to the extent that the seating area you want is available but your seat may well be in the North West corner or upper tiers where most of the newer seats are. Hope this helps.

Wish I could be more helpful James, but I'm not sure anyone really understands "the process".

We are a week past the normal deadline for existing ST holders, so they must be close to having a good feel for the uptake, and thereby how many spare seats they will have for those on the Waiting List.

Presumably, they then write to those on the Waiting List with an application form. I imagine they will advise where in the ground you will be seated in order that you can send the correct remittance. If this happens I would recommend you and your friend(s) send all the application forms in together with a note asking to be seated together if at all possible.

I believe they would normally simply allocate you seats. However, if you aren't happy with them, write to the Ticket Office immediately and tell then why.

I'd give it one more week, and if you haven't heard anything from them by say the 25th June I'd call the Ticket Office to see if they can tell you anything. If you don't get any clear advice/direction at that point I'd write to the Ticket Office Manager.

Let us know how you get on.

James, something else that has just come to mind, is that a mate has been told that they are currently moving people who requested a move, which suggests that they have already dealt with existing ST holders, so you should really be hearing before too long at all.

I've asked to move to hopefully get my two seats together, but haven't been contacted yet. May mean nothing.
