Has anyone with this lens marked the barrel with f/32 hyperfocal distances? Since there is no DOF scale, it seems handy to put some on the lens. I find it odd that Pentax only puts 55, 75 and 100mm focal length settings on the barrel. If I were shooting around the 85mm range, it would be hard to tell if I was actually at that focal length and therefore determining the DOF would be much more difficult. Color coded hyperfocal marks for each of the three listed focal lengths would have helped as well. I have temporarily marked the barrel as follows: for 55mm-- 6 feet for 75mm--- 15 feet for 100mm--- 28 feet. Any thoughts?

The 6 foot hyperfocal mark that I had listed above is not quite right for 55mm @ f/32. The background was slightly soft in my test shots so the mark needs to be shifted toward infinity a bit. Will try 7 feet and inform of the results later. I have also added close focus DOF marks for 55mm, 75mm and 100mm settings for f/32. This should help me to better know just how close I can get to the foreground and still have it sharp.
