It's no wonder we have an energy crisis going on in the US! Also interesting to view Africa...the "dark continent." Duluth and Mpls/St. Paul areas easy to pick out. Thanks for the perspective photo, Terry.

Sometimes stepping (way) back is useful in seeing what fires are still worth keeping going, and which are almost out and should be extinguished. If they're no longer producing sufficient heat (passion) and light (intellectual advancement), perhaps the fuel(energy/money/time) should be directed elsewhere. It doesn't however, show us where we need to start new fires. Perhaps we need to be in the thick of things to get a better feel for that. Hence the need for both field staff and researchers. Enough philosophizing for a Friday!
