Setting Up A Server

It's possible to run your own server. This is especially worthwhile if you use DSL or a cable modem. To operate your own server you will need to arrange for a DNS server. This tells Internet users where to find your domain. Zone Edit offers free DNS service. Go to their Web page to read all about it.

Note that many DSL and cable providers do not allow you to run a server on their connection. Please check on this before you set up a server. You could find your account cancelled if you're using a server against the ISP (Internet Service Provider) rules.
