I'm not.

Nothing about NUFC is exciting me at the moment.

It's partly the craic before the match I'm missing but also that excitement as Saturday approaches..nowt like it.

As soon as July 7th is past us I'll be very excited due to the influx of four quality players!!!

Me but if the season restarted where it left off I'd be pissed right off.

Been to see a few bands over thw last couple of weeks so I'm not missing the footy at the moment.

Missing my Saturday morning Toon webcast fix. But at least there's MLS, WUSA, and US World Cup qualifies to keep me semi-occupied on the footie front.

Nah - feeling pretty low about the whole thing right now, actually.
There just seems no end to our lack of professionalism, and I really do worry about where it will all end. As I've said before, the Club has gone steadily downhill from the day SJH walked away, and can I see no reason for optimism on the horizon.

I'm certain as the new season nears that the sap once again will rise, and yet another wave of unfounded optimism will well inside. Off I'll go to SJP, the old ticker pounding with the very same sense of anticipation it has for countless seasons before. I'm incurable you see.

Yeah missing it a bit. Did anyone see that Leeds fan being forced to have nowt to do with Football for three weeks. The bit where he met his mates half way through the enforced famine was priceless.

Seen a few bands as well Steph and going to the fleidh on Saturday to see my all time hero Neil Young. When you saw him did he do Farmer John ? My fave of the more recent stuff

Bake, he didn't do that one. The setlist is online at http://hyperrust.org/Tour2001/?Reviews

It was an incredible show, the guy has been around forevr but he still rocks! Enjoy - wish I was going!

How right you are Rik. I finally decided to renew but I still don't know why. I miss football but I am becoming immune to Newcastle United. They can't hurt me any more than they have for the last 30 - odd years. Nothing that club does or doesn't do, surprises me any longer. I feel like I'm trapped in a marriage to a woman I no longer fancy. Apart from that, I can't wait for the season to start.

SMB - are you saying you prefer playing away games?

-- Anonymous, June 16, 2001

Yeah thanks Steph, After I posted that I went to the fantastic site sugar Mountain where they have every set list Mr Young has played since 1969. Sure enough there was the link to the site you mentioned.

As for the gig two and a half hours of complete and utter joy. Best gig I have seen him do of the five I have seen. A real joy
