In KC, it was hot and humid, according to Spike. In Tampere, it was cool, rainy, and 54F. In Laramie, it was cloudy and 30F.

And that's just the way it was.

It's a cheery 41F in Laramie at mid-morning today. Mook was supposed to be at Lake George yesterday and today. Coming as he did from Tucson, I don't think we can rule out the possibility that he could have suffered massive systemic shock when this cold wave moved in. Worse, if he had been showering outside at the wrong time, he could have been turned (literally) into a human iceberg and may even now be trapped inside an oblong ice object.
