I have just bought a Samsung DVd-511 and I tried to record the dvd to a video recorder.I connected the dvd directly to the video recorder. The recording was good but the only thing that went bad was that the image came black and white and not in colour. The sound was good.

What shall I do? Are there any hacks or codes that I can use so I can record the dvd disc to a video recorder without any errors.

Answers

Recording direct to video recorder can cause b/w. This was cause of your VCR is not supported for recording NTSC format. Your VCR can only playback the ntsc format tape.
