New Book

I just received a copy of a new book by Bob Johnston, Joe Welsh and Mike Schafer entitled "Art of the Streamliner" published by Motorbooks. While I am normally not a fan of "coffee table" type books, the various books prepared by these fellows for Motorbooks are an exception. They are well researched, contain lots of interessting photos, including rare shots of passenger car interiors, and have nice coverage of our favorite roads-gee, I seem to have forgotten their names. Anyhow-I highly recommend this book to all.

This book is presently being carried by Barnes & Noble as a bargain book for only $14.95! Easily the best value in my passenger train collection.

I second your comments. I also just purchased a copy and the book is well researched, it has an excellent layout and the price was very inexpensive. It goes very well with their other publications and is a must for fans of passenger operations.
