New away kit!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Nufc.com are reporting that the club are to issue a new away kit with the following picture revealing the design. Quite how this fella got hold of one of these is anyone's guess but my issue is how can the club issue a new away kit when there was one issued last season? Isn't that a breach of the Football Supporter's Charter? Anyway here's the picture thats on NUFC.com

Anyone recognise him?

I understood the policy as new away kits every season but only every other season (i.e. 1 every 2 years) for home kit.

I think I've sat next to that fella too...good vocal support. Bit of a temper if I remember :-)

My thoughts exactly Stevo, you beat me as I was having a rant on another thread about South Americans!

It is just a Rangers strip, logo and all.

Isn't that Gazza wearing it?

It'd definetly a rangers strip, Our new away shirt is PURPLE.

Of course it is!

Aye, I saw that as well when the match was on, there were a few shots of him

Defintely an NUFC badge on it though, you could tell when you watched it.

A cunning trick, the neck's a giveaway, it's the billy boys's kit.

Something tells me our kit designers aren't the most creative minds in the shop, so it wouldn't surprise me if they copied another team's kit.

I just wanna know why they can make the logo white on the away kit, but can't come up with something other than the hideous green and purple on the home kit. Sorry....I should read my first sentence...probably answers my own question. ;-)

I see Warren Barton Got along to support the team as well. I guess the face painting was to avoid detection. Actually he looks more like Stuart Pearce.

The guy looks just like Gus. I'm not kidding.

Well spotted Nick, except for one(crossed out) two things.

1. He has too much hair,

2. He does not have enough chins.
