Pisser that they charge you to release contact details. Already found 1 old mate, and 1 gimp who once had a hair full of pottery clay now in Dallas, Texas.

Already seen one ex and on decent looker on there that I can remember, also a couple of my brother's mates!

There were only a dozen from the right time-frame and I knew them all. At first I thought this was pretty amazing until realsing that it must mean I was simply one of the geeks at school. Urgh! We're all nerds.

I didn't have any friends at school though ....

Is there a site anywhere for people like me?

You're already on it.

Great idea.

On a similar subject I came across this site the other day. http://home.clara.net/semper/4s65.htm

Can you spot the young Jonno? I have to tell you that it was quite alarming to see a picture of myself staring out of the screen from all those years ago. Actually there seems to be a mistake as the picture is dated 1965 when quite clearly it should read 1985.

Well that brought back memories from all those 36 16 years ago. I remember one kid in the class one year behind ours - a sort of Les Battersby look alike - really strange - was constantly in bother with the school gardener for damaging the hedges around the school. Kept saying he was doing it for "promotion" or something - there's some funny people aboot. I wonder what happened to him?

(BTW I'm 6th from the left in the middle row - you can tell that I've lost none of my boyish good looks in the intervening years)

No pictures from my old school,(whitley Bay High/Grammar) but good site.

Some right tugs in your class Jonno.

But the girls look OK

I can't believe I've had to add my school, It has to start somewhere I suppose.

-- Anonymous, June 12, 2001

Just got a mail saying there is a very similar school already on (difference = apostrophe). What a silly bunt.

-- Anonymous, June 12, 2001

What school did you go to Tony?

The G'uivarch school of football exellence?

-- Anonymous, June 12, 2001

Aye, Jonno. Pretty poor effort in your class on the bint front. Not even a borderline-boiler among 'em! ;-)

-- Anonymous, June 12, 2001

Notice they've also got plans in future to poss expand the idea to cover old work places / ex-Forces / specific places in towns.

As it's free to register and then view the site content, reckon the further option of five quid a year to then contact as many people as you want is a pretty good deal. Looks like their "snowball" effect is working. Just needs more publicity.

Big question is - which long lost pals would pay £5 to contact you?

-- Anonymous, June 13, 2001

The ones I owe money to?

-- Anonymous, June 13, 2001

my wife has found a long lost close friend and has paid the fiver to e-mail her, no reply yet and it's two days on !!

-- Anonymous, June 13, 2001

Surely people can bypass the £5 scam by simply putting their email address in the personal message box- like I did.

-- Anonymous, June 13, 2001

i have as well

-- Anonymous, June 13, 2001

Bobby - £5 isn't excessive IMHO - this is what the internet is about. Unless they're storing the card numbers for a massive heist in a few months.
