Well, I have to say I am staggerblasted. I would never have guessed that Yelli was 50. Congraulations young lady. I can't even remember when I was 50. I think the King was still in nappies. It's funny how things go round in circles (as I said to Ruby Lee the other day). Now it's me who's wearing the nappies but I don't mind. That's what growing mature brings you - like a good cheese, and I do like a good cheese. In fact I really like Gorgan Zola and if Chelsea will let him go I think I will try to sign him in a few years time when he has matured. Now as for Young Screacher. Well what can I say? What can I say about him that hasn't been said before? Such a mature head on his young shoulders. So sensible and I'm sure, given the right situation (and there are lots of right situations around) that he will make a huge difference to our team. A huge difference. Mark my words. Mark Hughes. Mark attackers. A huge difference. Young Screacher. Indeed, young. Set a good example Yelli on your 50th birthday.

Happy Birthday young sir - 5-0 thats a good score.Yelli enjoy - don't use Screach as a role model.
-- Anonymous, June 11, 2001
Happy Birthday to the both of you. I hope you both act your age - (Screacher in bed by 9:30 and Yelli puking up in a pub car park)
-- Anonymous, June 12, 2001
Take no notice Screach - you don't look a day over 70. Happy Birthday and welcome to the "Elder Statesmen" section of the BBS. Sit doon - Buff's just away getting the dominoes now.Happy Birthday Yelli. I don't know about Buff's advice to do everything your mother wouldn`t do - I would imagine it's hard to keep up with her!

Happy birthdays Yelli and Screach. Have a good one!
-- Anonymous, June 12, 2001
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I never thought I'd make it (holds bat in the air and acknowledges the crowd). And you know what - I don't feel a day older than I did yesterday. If I can only keep it up every day for the rest of my life (fnarr, fnarr) I'll still feel like a young 'un (so you lasses had better wathc oot!).Yelli - some of the nicest folks I know have a birthday today (well, at leat 2 of us). Soapy Bathday pet. Make sure yer Ma pampers you (?) all day long.
Eeh - I must go for a lie down before I start checking the Saga Holiday brochures and applying for cheap insurance.
