Myrtle Beach

Must be the first home again.

It was neat and you that would should really try to make the next one. Have heard about Myrtle Beach since forever but it's reality was somewhat a surprise. Dumpy kid driven town but don't misunderstand. We fun loving adults can have fun anywhere and we certainly did!

It wern't a five star but the Palm Tree Inn offered a culture trip for those up to the challenge. We slummed and we loved it. Better stuff to follow when the storytellers get home.

Hey Carlos!

It was my distinct pleasure to have finally met you in person my friend!

Folks, that was a super fun time we had in MB. If you have never met the folks from the forum IRL you should attend the next meeting because you are in for a treat! I missed Vegas but swore that I would attend the next meeting, and I am very happy that I did so. I am not going to go into a lot of detail right now, but sufice it to say that every single person to show up in MB was a lot of fun to be around, and it was four days of "shits 'n giggles" that had us all rolling with laughter and good feelings. I would not have missed it for the world, and I plan to be there when we all meet again.

It was a blast, and I was very sorry when it was time for good-byes.

I'm proud to be able to call each one of those fine people my friend, and I am very much looking forward to meeting them all again ASAP!

Yeppers!!!

It was a HELLUVA good time,it was great meeting even more folks IRL and seeing other friends again from the LV gathering, what a pleasure.I think "shits n giggles" about sums it up,as my face is sore from all the constant laughter.

Thanks for the memories folks and the opportunity in making your acquaintance. The only problem:there just wasn't enough time, but that's allways the case when when you're enjoying the company.

Finally recuperated enough to toss up a quick post. (The 12 hour drive home was a piece 'o cake, but that Thursday night marathon 'bout killed me!)

I can only echo what Carlos, Unk and capn have already said here. Had a great time and enjoyed the company of each and every one of you. My thanks go out to all. Definitely looking forward to the next get together, wherever and whenever that might be.

We also had a great time. Always a kick to finally associated faces with some of the names here. Not often even close to what I expect, making it all the more fun.

Carlos, thanks for the cap. Also, Erika wants me to tell you that MB is not kid-driven at all, it's mostly middle class families. However, this just happened to be "senior weekend" for high school seniors, so you had a unique once-a-year perspective. Also, a very good thing we didn't schedule for some of the prior weeks, when we'd have encountered Harley week (crowded and noisy), or Black Bike Week, even more crowded and Very Dangerous. Finally, if we visit in the winter we can get much cheaper rooms there.

Kind of a shame we all live so far from one another. This sure is a big country. Amazing that people were willing to travel coast to coast just to meet a few of us. I hope we all measured up in everyone else's eyes as much as in mine. Great to see y'all.

Erika is one of Flint's best kept secrets. This otherwise verbose scoundrel managed to corral a real gem. Still trying to figure that one out.

Funny, sweet, TALL, the perfect gentleman, and has the most beautiful blue eyes. Great legs and a great tan too. But I really wasn't looking. *wink wink*

Unk is a hunk
