Having just aquired a medium format outfit I was wondering if the 120 version of the new Delta 400 is the same emulsion as the 35 MM. This is my first look at comparing them side by side and they do look different. The 120 film seems to have a somewhat greenish tinge vs the 35 which is perfectly gray. I have not had a chance to print them yet but they look very similar in contrast and density.

The film base used by Ilford for its rollfilm sometimes has a green tint to it. Seems to make absolutely no difference to the printing qualities though.

Jane, The emulsion on the new ILFORD Delta 400 Professional is the same for both the 35mm and 120 versions. The base material is different, which may be causing the difference you see. Also, it is possible that you are seeing a slight amount of residual sensitizing dye. This will not have any noticable effect on printing on either graded or Multigrade paper.
