Nothing new Ive seen

A rehash of the Dyer stuff - this time with Roma chasing him for 18mil in the mirror.

People reports (late) on Toon target Bridges being out til Xmas with a knee injury - hence the Jeffers bid, who they tell us wants to join Arsenal.

Have the Arse made an approach?

Go People! =)

I'm beginning to think that Jeffers doesn't want to come here. Hell....why would we want a player that really doesn't want to come here???? I hope to God Arse sign the prick......

Monkeys Heed reckons Jeffers is worth 4mil

comments...?

Its almost certain we would match, if not better his wages than at the Arse. He'd get more starts - but would win more at the Arse - warming the bench.

He cannot wait indefinately for a bid from Wenger, so I guess we will get an answer one way or other sooner rather than later.

...and also the Marca to Barca thing as a "make weight" in the xfer for the Mallorca fella. Nurse, keep the vino flowing.

I think that Jeffers WOULD get alot of starts at Arsenal as its no secret that they are looking for a predatory goalscorer to play alongside Henry. Wiltord hasn't looked a good buy and Kanu and Bergkamp didn't make much of an impact last season. I reckon one ( possibly two ) of Wiltord, Bergkamp and Kanu will leave Highbury this summer. They may even go for Munchkin as well.

The Sunday Sun reckons that Facundo Bonvin is returning to the Toon from Boca Juniors for a 2nd season on loan.

Yep, Facundo Bonvin. Could well be as good as it gets, eh? Lets' face it, now that the closing date for ST renewals has passed, we'll find out the real targets.

I feel another season of rebuilding coming on.

That's what they were saying in Jericho, where Joshua fit. :-))

Been chatting to an Evertonian mate out here about Jeffers. Reckons he's been asking for 35k+ per week at Everton which is just one of the reasons they want to sell him.

This mate also reckons he's waiting for Arsenal to make a move for him and thinks he'd be guaranteed a start at the Arse as he's just what they need.

No doubt about his potential but all reports include the words 'money- grabbing', 'arrogant' and 'thinks he's better than he actually is'. Should fit in perfectly at SJP then.
