Poyet is in talks with Liverpool about a £2million move, after turning down Spurs.

Liverpool must have to offload some of their squad to accomodate him as they already had a big squad. Berger would be an excellent move but I read on here that Robson was interested in Barmby?

Still on a Liverpool theme, we are being linked with a £4million move for ex-Liverpool player Jason McAteer.

Not at £4million I'd say. Looked a great prospect but has never fulfilled the early promise and I'd pay no more than £1.5million for what would be a decent squad player, but we've got enough of them.
