Was it in vain? I would have thought he was putting the final touches to a signing that would have been announced by now, or are they really going to hang out until July 7th?

I figure most players/ managers are on hols.... it could be the end of June, beginning of July before we see anything. The only way we may see movement earlier is if we are going to battle other clubs for the player.
