I know a friend of his who reckons his girlfriend hated London. Clarkie is holding out for Robson to come in for him, but there has been nothing. Fulham are buying Riise to replace Clarkie and in the meantime Thompson has nudged O'Neill who really wants him.

Suddenly my opinion of Clarkie's abilities have risen if O'Neill is genuinely in for him. Course, it all depends on what he plans to use him for in his team plan as that would doubtless be different to ours
