This Fair Play League draw >>>

Anyone know what time it is and if there's a link to the live draw (I know they've had these in the past for the main competitions)?

I've tried looking on uefa.com but I can't find anything on there.

Cheers, wonkey.

Bugger

A Slovakian team and Myllykosken Pallo-47 will join Belarussian side Shakhtior Soligorsk in the qualifying round of the 2001/2002 UEFA Cup following the UEFA Fair Play draw, which was held at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. Rayo Vallecano made good use of their UEFA Cup place during the 2000/01 season (©Reuters) Eleven qualifiers Clubs from eleven different national associations went into the annual draw in which former Spanish international goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta was responsible for drawing two names out of the hat. Belarus, as the outright winner in UEFA’s Fair Play ranking for the 2000/2001 campaign, automatically earned the right to enter an additional team in the 2000/2001 UEFA Cup. The prize went to FC Slavia Mozyr, but as they have already qualified for the 2001/2002 UEFA Champions League, the position reverted to Shakhtior Soligorsk who finished second in their national Fair Play ranking. Worthwhile entry The value of the award - which is open to national associations who finished their league season with a Fair Play ranking of eight or more - was highlighted only last season when Spanish side Rayo Vallecano reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup after qualifying as a Fair Play winner.

Never mind....it means one of us will win the lottery this weekend ;)

Thank God, we can concentrate on the league now.

It's only June and already we've been knocked out of Europe. Robson Out!

No surprise to anyone but it is now over half an hour since the draw and the result has been widely reported by the likes of nufc.com, icnewcastle, teamtalk, sportinglife etc. Meanwhile the official club site hasn't even got out of bed yet. Crap or what!

..... -co.uk will be waiting for the official postal confirmation from UEFA, Dread!

As for the draw - c'est la vie. Frankly, we didn't deserve it anyway - finishing 3rd in the PL Fair Play table is hardly a ringing endorsement of our qualifications.

It proves their is a god. Personally, I was a little disappointed - I thought it would have been mint to see NUFC humiliated on the international stage. It seems finishing third in the "soft as shite" league was too tenuous, even for Newcastle United...
