Is it just me or are people in general getting really really mean.(i don't mean here) Does anyone take other peoples feelings into consideration anymore?

It's not you. People seem ruder, more inconsiderate, more selfish, and just plain nasty. Me first is the rule and the hell with you and yours. Too many people think they should be first in line, first to be waited on, served hand and foot, etc., nevermind other peoples' need. (Emergency room, "I've had a cold and fever for 4 days. I was here first so the guy with the bleeding head wound can just wait his turn." Store, "I have to get to my very important job so wait on me first. That old lady has all day." On the road, "Move over and let me through because I am so very important.")

Where did manners, patience, and consideration go?

I don't know if people in general are ruder than they used to be, or that the people who are rude are so incredibly rude that they really stick out in your memory. I know I am guilty of making generalizations when I really shouldn't. Eg: every day I ride the bus to work. Most of the bus drivers on my route are friendly, many of them say, "Good morning" and "Have a nice day." and smile at riders. Periodically, there will be a really grumpy bus driver who doesn't wait for elderly people to sit down before tearing down the street, and speeds past people who are clearly waiting for the bus. My memory of that bus driver sticks in my mind much longer than the nice drivers.

Man, I could go on about this for hours. A general complete lack of personal responsibility goes a long with this also. I see parents pull really s**ty things in front of their kids like it is OK to break the rules and I'm the most important person in the world. I was just talking to a neighbor about all this last night. No wonder kids are violent. I had a neighbor with kids who made it a family affair to vandalize my apartment. At my daughter's school, parents block the fire entrance despite notices not to just because they are too lazy or have too much self importance to park in a marked place and walk 10 more feet. Breath, Vicki breath.

i hate meen poeole!! allot of girlz can be rilly snotty expecshally when they found out how rich my guy is. they all sed i just got marryed to a suger daddy cuzhes allot older them me. isnt that terreble?
