Create A Desktop Link

Suppose you're researching a topic. You don't really want to put any of the sites into your Microsoft Internet Explorer Favorites, but you need to keep some of them temporarily. One way to save these sites is to create shortcuts to them on your desktop. To do this, choose File|Send|Shortcut to Desktop.
