Danielle Steel - the most popular novelist in the history of mankind - isn't about to let a little thing like writer's block keep her from practicing her craft. The glamorous jet-setter is taking a cue from an age-old adage by turning to our primate cousins for a helping hand. "There's this man (a Mr. Reed?) I know, and he owns a great many monkeys," Danielle recently told Bad Writer Magazine. "In November, I gave him a bunch of old typewriters, a story outline and a few character studies. He's been sending me chapters regularly ever since. The quality of the prose is quite good, even though sometimes the pages smell like poo." When asked whether she would ever try her hand at writing her own novels again, Steel replied: "Get the fu@k off my property!"
