Protecting Clothes in Your Vehicle If you are taking clothes to the dry cleaner or bringing them home, do not leave them in a hot car, SUV or truck in the sun for a long time. You may not realize it, but exposure to sun and extreme heat can cause fading or even set stains! (this is good to know for all you "multi-taskers!)
