JACKSON, Tennessee (CNN) -- A small plane crashed into a wooded area of western Tennessee on Sunday, killing all five people aboard.

Authorities were notified of the crash at 4:33 p.m. (5:33 p.m. EDT), said Kurt Pickering, a spokesman for the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency.
