The Vagina Monologues

Not a question, but an endorsement. This play is getting national praise for a reason. I just saw it at a sold-old symphony hall in San Diego. The three women, Starla Benford, Sharon Gless, Sherri Parker Lee, received a standing ovation. It is extraordinarily funny, poignant with a litte sad thrown in. Y chromosomes would appreciate it too. There were lots of Y's there, or as one of the actresses said as she scanned the audience, "oh, I see some penises out there." You can get info. at www.vaginamonologues.com

I second that, Vicki.

If you haven't seen it, JUST GO! It's funny as hell and thought provoking to boot.

I just saw it last night with mostly the same cast, only instead of Sharon Gless, we got Jerry Hall. I thought it was very good..but not the best thing I've ever seen. Having said that, I feel guilty for not loving it as much as everyone I've ever heard speak about it seems to. Sherri Lee Parker was amazing, though.

I'm gonna go see it in a couple of weeks if we can get this flood mess cleaned up. I hope it is as great as everyone's said ('cept Gardanna) 'cause I paid what feels like at least an arm for the ticket. How much did y'all pay?

Jerri Hall, huh?

I'm sorry Letty.
