COMPUTER VIRUS HOAX

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Current News : One Thread

A hoax virus warning is circulating throughout the computer world. This hoax takes the form of an e-mail that asks the recipient to look for and delete the "virus" file SULFNBK.EXE on their computer. This file is a Windows system file, and should not be deleted.

Computer users should always confirm notification of a virus with a reputable source. If you receive virus warnings from unknown sources, delete the e-mail and do not pass it along to your friends.
